The Moore County Kennel Club partners with the PRC in the schools through its sponsorship of The Speuter Story Contest. Through this contest, the fourth grade students write a story about the importance of being responsible pet owners. The winners are presented with a signed certificate and a voucher for a spay or neuter for their pet or the pet of a family member or friend. This contest is made possible through the generosity of the MCKC.
Every year, the PRC is invited to have a booth at the MCKC Show. It is an exciting and fun time for our volunteers and we always recruit great volunteers at this event.
