Brownson Memorial Presbyterian Church in Southern Pines held its very first Blessing of the Animals on September 28th, 2025. The PRC and Moore County Therapy Dogs have the privilege of using the church campus for meetings and education sessions. Brownson invited the therapy dogs to participate in the Blessing which was given by Pastor Elizabeth Doolin. The Pilot newspaper sent a photographer and featured the event in the paper. Participants brought pet food for the PRC’s Pet Pantry Program.
